Dracula - BBC ONE

One of the programs I worked on while at BBC creative was the new Drama series of Dracula. The producers of the show wanted to focus on the main actor, playing Dracula and make him a heart throb. They specified he must look gorgeous and be featured in all the work. But Dracula is old, rich, vain, manipulative, easily loses him temper, promiscuous, lacks empathy and wants to kill us all. Basically, he’s a loathsome, awful, psychopath. So how do we make everyone fall in love with someone like that?

Well as we know, everyone’s worst points are also their best.

So, I came up with the campaign line: You’ll love to hate him.
