TERRY'S CHOCOLATE ORANGE – EXPERIENTIAL
Terry's Countdown to Christmas Clocks.
Terry’s is the chocolate of Christmas; the brief was to remind consumers in a way that would make the brand more contemporary.
I came up with the idea to count down to Christmas using chocolate oranges.
My original concept was based on a marble clock (see video at the bottom), each orange represented a portion of time, but scaled up to be enormous.
Three of these kinetically powered Christmas Countdown Clocks were installed at 3 leading shopping malls for the whole of December.
The Chocolate Orange powered countdown clocks were seen by 10m+ consumers and proved more popular than Santa’s Grotto! Like for like sales were also up by 19.6% in the period.
